Chris Van Buul, Ph.D.

Chris van Buul graduated from the State university of Leiden. After gaining years of experience in the IVD industry in product development at Organon International and later at Organon Teknika, he joined Sanquin Bloodbank. Later, he became lead auditor at Lloyd’s Register.

Chris has done more than 2000 auditing days, assessing quality management systems and technical documentation related to Directive 98/79/EC (IVDD), Directive 93/42/EEC (MDD), ISO13485 and MDSAP (FDA 21 CFR Part 820 (USA), TGR (Australia), PMDA (Japan), Anvisa (Brasil) and CMDR (Canada)).

At Qarad, Chris assists manufacturers with quality system implementation, auditing and training.
